I started dancing when I was six years old, which was according to me at that age, not soon enough. I used to accompany my older brothers to their rehearsals and remember constantly pestering my mother to enroll me in class. I started dancing at Yalenka and it was an instantaneous love, not only for dance but for the Ukrainian culture as well. From there I moved to Mavka and finally to Barvinok. I travelled all over the province competing and performing. I developed many friendships from dance that continue to this day. I am thrilled to be a part of the dancing community now as an instructor and hope to pass on my passion for dance and Ukrainian culture.
